Banning State Park

While we were camping in Hinkley we realized Banning state park was about a half hour away. So we packed a picnic and made a day trip out of it. Banning state park is landscaped along the Kettle River. Unique to this state park you can stop along the Quarry loop to explore the ruins of the 130 year old sandstone quarry.
